School of Engraving and Graphic Design

How do I register for a course at the School of Engraving and Graphic Design?

Currently the only course offered is the Master's in Graphic Print Media, Illustration and Artistic Minting. The course is actually a qualification of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, delivered in partnership with the Royal Mint of Spain.

Students access the course through a scholarship for which applications are submitted at the end of the academic year. More information at Registration.

What are the eligibility requirements for a master's scholarship?

These scholarships are open to all European Union students, and non-European Union students with a residence permit, who are graduates in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, or Engraving or Printing Techniques. Non-EU students will be required to submit a standardized certification of their qualification, which must already be awarded, not pending.

All teaching takes place on the premises of the School of Engraving and Graphic Design of the Casa de la Moneda Museum.

Tinta de Verano

What is Tinta de Verano?

Tinta de Verano is the annual exhibition in which students of the School of Engraving and Graphic Design of the Royal Mint display their works completed during the last academic year and present the final project of their master's degree. The exhibition venue is the Casa de la Moneda Museum.

The Activities section provides the dates of the most recent exhibition.

Where can I obtain an exhibition catalogue?

The catalogue is provided at the opening of the exhibition and can also be requested at the museum's information desk if copies are still available. An online version is available here.

 

Graphic Art Competition for Young Creatives

What were the entry requirements for the competition?

The competition was open to all Spanish artists or artists living in Spain registered at a public or private institute of education in graphic arts and illustration.

Is there an exhibition of the works submitted?

Traditionally, in parallel with the prize-giving ceremony, an exhibition is organized with a selection of the submitted works, at the premises of the Casa de la Moneda Museum.
